I don’t have time to “read between the lines” never mind reading novels!!
But between the lines is such an interesting space. Just kidding….hope you had some fun playing with blogging today!
I have read a really good book, Brisinger by Paloni. I am not sure of the spelling but it is an excellent read.
Over the holidays I read The Book of Negroes and the last week I read The Guernsey literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Both great! Where is Tara French from? I love mysteries. Have you read the Lord Peter Wimsey books or Magery Allinghams Peter Campion series?
I read The Book of Negroes too…and loved it. Haven’t read the sequel as yet though. Also my absolute favorite read last summer was The Guernsey book…loved it, loved it, loved it – especially the “sense of voice” that comes out so strongly in all the different letters. I was feeling so sad when the book was over….
I am reading a historican novel called The Queens Lady. It is very interesting — love historican fiction
Cool book….I like historical fiction too! Love the Girl With the Pearl Earring…Did you read that one?
good idea to learn about blog we will be able to share with the kids
Thanks Marlene for participating today in the blogging workshop. Have fun creating one with your students….and please let me know how it goes.
Best wishes,

Yes. I re-read Monsignor Quixote by Graham Green.
I Am about to purchase “Dust of Dreams” by Steven Erikson. Book 10ish in a huge series. He’s the best author I’ve read in the Sword and Sorcery genre.
Also, “The Secret Truth of Grownups” A great book for the classroom.
“Peg and the Yeti” is a great book for plasticine illustrations in art class.
¡Adios!
Matt
Hi Matt,
Thanks for coming out today. Hey, I love fantasy reads too! I don’t know this author, Steven Erikson, yet. But I just checked his books out on Amazon and they look great! Have you read any books by Guy Gavriel Kay, Jack Whyte, or Terry Goodkind? They are some of my favorite fantasy authors.
Also, I’m keen on kids’ books…but I don’t know the The Secret Truth of Grownups…but I know this one….The Secret Knowledge of Grown-ups. Could we be talking about the same book or a different one.
Please let me know how it goes with your classroom blog….
Best wishes,
